Website privacy
This page covers the notemeadow.com website: the beta waitlist, the consent banner, and the analytics tools the site uses. It does not cover the NoteMeadow app. For the app, see App privacy.
The site is operated by Matano Enterprises LLC. Questions about this page go to support@notemeadow.com.
The beta waitlist
When you ask to join the beta, we store:
- your first name and email address;
- the uses and devices you picked, if any;
- whether you ticked "Also send me occasional news about other apps from Matano Enterprises.";
- the exact wording you agreed to, its version, and when you agreed;
- which site you signed up on (notemeadow.com or matanoenterprises.com), any campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content), and the page that referred you, if your browser shares it.
We use this to contact you about the NoteMeadow beta and launch. The form says: "We'll email you about the NoteMeadow beta and launch. No spam, unsubscribe anytime." If you ticked the box for other apps, we may also email you about other apps from Matano Enterprises. Signing up again with the same email updates your existing entry rather than creating a second one.
Waitlist entries are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database operated for Matano Enterprises LLC. To ask for a copy of your entry, a correction, or deletion, email support@notemeadow.com.
How long entries are kept: to be decided by Matano Enterprises before launch.
Bot protection
The waitlist form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a script, is signing up. Turnstile runs in your browser when you use the form and is provided by Cloudflare.
Analytics and consent
With your consent where the law requires it, the site measures visits and sign-ups with Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. These tools are loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz, not directly from the page, and only after you agree to analytics in the consent banner. Microsoft Clarity is set to mask everything typed into form fields. Meta Pixel is not active on the site; if that changes, it will be listed here and will only run after you agree to marketing cookies.
The site records events such as starting or sending the beta form, using the on-page demos, pausing the hero film, and switching between light and dark mode. The demos run entirely in your browser: nothing you type into them is sent anywhere.
You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page.
Cookies and local storage
- Theme. Your light or dark choice is saved in your browser's local storage under
nm-theme. It never leaves your device. - Campaign tags. If you arrive from a link with campaign tags, they are kept in session storage until you close the tab, so they can be attached to a waitlist sign-up.
- Consent. Cloudflare Zaraz stores your consent choice in a cookie named
cf_consentso the banner does not reappear on every visit. - Turnstile. When you use the waitlist form, Cloudflare Turnstile may set short-lived cookies needed for its bot check.
Only after you agree to analytics:
- Google Analytics 4, run by Cloudflare Zaraz from Cloudflare's servers rather than by Google's script in your browser. Zaraz keeps a few first-party cookies on notemeadow.com, named after the tool (they start with
google-analytics_v4_): a random visitor ID (ga4) kept until you clear it, a session ID (ga4sid) that ends after 30 minutes without activity, and counters for pages viewed, events and time on the page in the current session. Google receives this data through Zaraz but sets no cookies of its own on notemeadow.com. - Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used (clicks, scrolling, page layout) with typed text masked. It sets
_clck(a random visitor ID, kept for 1 year) and_clsk(links page views into one session, kept for 1 day) on notemeadow.com. Microsoft may also set cookies on its own domain, clarity.ms, such asCLIDandMUID(up to 1 year).
Meta Pixel is not active, so no Meta or Facebook cookies are set.
